fine art lightboxes BY ARTEN
ARTEN produces a range of lightboxes for the exhibition of photographic and digital artworks. These lightboxes are designed to look and feel like a fine art gallery frame,
Units are designed to be easily exhibited and transported or permanently installed. Emphasis is put on producing boxes with a high quality feel, seamlessly integrating the electrical components and lighting with the frame. They can be confidently sold to collectors and acquired by institutions.
ARTEN provides in house printing of pigment print transparencies or can work with existing artworks. Past projects have included lenticular prints, layered acrylic panels and painted works.
Our lightbox designs have been refined and iterated over the past decade and we have been fortunate enough to work on exhibitions with many artists, galleries and institutions.

FORM AND MATERIALS
We have carefully selected a range of frame profiles with consideration placed on maintaining the look of a contemporary gallery frame while being functional for a lightbox ensuing even illumination and serviceability. Frames can be produced out any of our furniture grade hardwood timbers as well as welded aluminium in an array of finishes.
The internal construction of the light panels are made from a lightweight but robust Aluminium composite panel that has been CNC machined and fitted with custom fabricated components to ensure a well engineered and seamless integration with the frame.
Standard profiles available are 19mm face x 80mm depth and 28mm face x 100mm depth. Custom profiles are available to suit any requirements. We can also produce lightboxes in circular and shaped frame designs.
