It’s been a crazy couple of months and we haven’t had much of a chance to stop and think. We have a few projects coming up and things to post in retrospect of work we had time to photograph. We are still open by appointment only for now and as usual feel free to email us if you have any questions.

Something interesting to look at is NGV’s virtual tour KEITH HARING | JEAN-MICHEL BASQUIAT: CROSSING LINES

An amazing exhibition which has brought back memories of Haring’s retrospective at MCA in the mid 1990s.

Arten was excited to be involved in this exhibition working on the mounting for Maripol’s Polaroids.

Lightboxes commissioned for the NGV to house Anne Zahalka’s Duratrans film works. Two of these lightboxes are currently on show at NGV Australia Federation Square as part of the exhibition Civilisation: The Way We Live Now.
Advances in backlit LED technology enabled us to create perfectly even illumination tuned to the exhibition space with accurate colour rendition. The minimal heat generation is also much safer for the artwork than traditional tube based lightboxes.
The lightboxes themselves were engineered so that the film transparencies can be easily removed and refit by collection staff for storage and inspection.

The exhibition of selected prints at Geelong Gallery (@geelonggallery) will run from the 20th of September to the 24th of November. The current exhibition, ‘The Moon’ runs until the 1st of September.

Beautiful work by Mary Tonkin currently on show at Australian Galleries. All framed in Vic Ash including some custom made extra deep frames for intricate and delicate ceramic works. Make sure you see the extraordinary 18 metre long highly detailed painting. The exhibition runs until 11th August.

So nice to work in such a beautiful space as designed by Fiona Lynch Office. We have our fitting up and pick up storage in this area, mounting & printing upstairs and frame production in the rear workshop.
